Prior to joining the firm in 2002, Rod had served as an Area V.P. for CIGNA's Litigation Department.  In that position, he had responsibility for 133 attorneys who defended assureds in the Northeast region. From 1981 to 1989, Rod was the Attorney of Record for CIGNA's Long Island Staff Counsel Office. 

Rod splits his time between the two upstate offices with an active case load focusing on premises and product litigation.
