Frederick Soller and William K. Joseph recently obtained a dismissal of all claims against a local Long Island property owner.  The plaintiff, an invitee on the premises, alleged that she was injured when she slipped and fell on ice and snow in our client's parking lot in February 2017.  The plaintiff did not bring suit until February 2020.  The plaintiff served the client in July 2020 and failed to take any other action.  

ADM moved to dismiss the claim in September 2022, arguing that the plaintiff failed to take any action within one year of the service of the complaint and only sought to excuse their failure to act after we filed our motion to dismiss.  After oral argument, the Court granted the motion in its entirety.
