Alexys M. Carter joined ADM in 2018. Her practice focuses primarily in the areas of premises liability, automobile liability, products liability, construction defect and New York's Labor Law. She handles all aspects of litigation.
Prior to joining ADM, Alexys represented injured plaintiffs in their personal injury and workers' compensation claims in a boutique law firm. The firm represented plaintiffs in all types of accidents, but specialized in construction accidents. Alexys has her OSHA-10 certification and is very familiar with the safety measures required on a construction site. The OSHA-10 certification, combined with her years of experience litigating construction claims on behalf of plaintiffs, empowers her to zealously advocate on behalf of property owners and contractors in this often high exposure area of litigation.
While at Touro, Alexys completed an externship with the Hon. Leonard D. Wexler in the Federal Court for the Eastern District of New York. She also was a member of the executive board of the Trial Advocacy and Practice Society and on Touro’s Mock Trial team.
